Words to Songs:
http://www.ccli.com/usa/default.aspx
When the website comes up, log in with the church username (contact Ed Hogan for more info.)
Once logged in, click "Launch SongSelect"
You can now search on titles, lyrics etc.
Once you find the song you're looking for, click on it. The words will show up on the right.
You can click on the arrow symbol to download a text file to your PC, which you can use to cut and paste into PowerPoint.

Pictures that could be used for Backgrounds:
There are many sites that have pictures. One thing to be very careful of is the copyrighting of several pictures. If the pictures are copyrighted, please read the restrictions to be sure that it is permissible to use in our situation. If there are watermarks throughout the picture, it's best to stay away from those. In additional to Google Image search, here are some other options:

1) http://www.christianfreebies.com/backgrounds.shtml - this site has many different
        backgrounds and other useful links
2) www.easyworship.com/phpImages/index.php- (same username and password)
3) www.heartlight.org/cgi/powerpoint.cgi - Free backgrounds for use by churches
4) www.freestockphotos.com
5) www.freefoto.com- Lots of pictures. Note under the "Other" category on this page, you'll see
a link called "church". One of the options once you're there, are the "Bible Verse" links on the
left-hand side. These have nice pictures that contain verses already on the picture.
Scripture Verses:
www.biblegateway.com - This site is great for looking up verses in a multitude of Bible
versions. It's very easy to use and you can easily cut and paste from this site right into
PowerPoint. One thing I do is to superscript the verse #s in the text once you've copied them
into PowerPoint. Note that a nice shortcut way to do that is to highlight the text you want
superscripted and then hit "Ctrl" "Shift" "+" simultaneously.
www.gospelcom.net - This site is made by the same site that makes biblegateway.com.
