Follow the steps below to display the same thing on both screens. Although we primarily use this setup for displaying movies (because it allows the user to read everything on the media player), this setup can be used to display anything on both screens.
1) Double-click on the red ATI icon
in the lower right hand corner in the taskbar (next to the
clock), this will load the catalyst control center (this may
take a little to load).
2) Click “Displays Manager” on the left.
3) Click Wizard
4) Click next.
5) Click “Clone (Presentation)
Mode” and then click next.
6) Click “Apply” and click “yes” when asked if these settings
are ok.
If you would like to display a DVD
or video from the computer follow the continuing steps below:
7) Open Windows Media Player from
the Start Menu or the icon on the left side of the taskbar.
8) Select the location of the file.
9) Click the full screen button,
just above the video display in the right hand corner (the left
button with the arrow).
10) When Windows Media Player goes to full screen it shows the
controls for a few seconds until there is no mouse movement.
Please remember to put the screens
back to dual monitor setup when finished by following the steps
below:
1) Double-click on the red ATI icon
in the lower right hand corner in the taskbar (next to the
clock), this will load the catalyst control center (this may
take a little to load).
2) Click “Displays Manager” on the left.
3) Click Wizard
4) Click next.
5) Click “Extended Desktop Mode”
and then click next.
6) Click “Apply” (the screen will probably go blank) and then
click “yes” when asked if these settings are ok.
